This is fiche, so the comic is barely readable, maybe not completely readable. Still this comic has one of the coolest covers of any Golden Age comic, of ANY comic even.

Another version of Minimidget's origin was used by Caliber Comics when they included him in a list of Golden Age heroes who had been revived from suspended animation. In this version, Dr. Anton Barmell, the man who shrinks Minimidget and Ritty in the first place is arrested for the murders of his family. In the original version, as can be seen in this scan, he blows up his laboratory, killing himself and the other people whom he has shrunken. Minimidget is even given an alter ego in the Caliber Comics version, that of Jack Rhodes, the F.B.I. agent who stops a gang of pirates in the "River Rats" story in this issue and who only appeared in that one issue - at least as himself and not as Minimidget. |
