Most of the posts are now dated 2007 and are very old.
Should we leave them on site or just delete all of them (except FAQ's etc) and start fresh?
Let me know your thoughts.

delete all of the old "I just uploaded this" stuff, but keep the helpful hints, and public domain discussions... or at least the truly helpful ones Glad to see we're back! Cimm

Cimm I second Cimm -- the faqs, helpful hints, and public domain discussions are darn near academic textbooks of how to keep pd comics alive. B.

I think the old records are a valuable accumulated archive of fact & opinion about Golden Age comics & should be saved, if possible.
Serj & Aussie500: I'm available to help out with sorting, etc. Just let me know what I can do.

Reason I put it as a poll is so users/community decide. When poll closes thats the outcome

Keep those posts that are relevant to the discussion of golden age heroes and tools that are useful to us here are what i would keep and the postings of I need this or I need that and I just uploaded so-and-so number 3895 would be unnecessary (sp) in my mind. But that is my opinion only.

I have just registered with the site and tried to download a comic but was informed that I was in Error and had exceeded my quota of downloads! I have not downloaded a single comic yet ! I know that this is probably not the forum to raise the matter, but can some kind person advise me please ? I am totally confused by this site. Regards, Masquenoir.

How do you vote? I can't find it in Help. Anyway, I'd like to keep 'em.

Most of the posts are now dated 2007 and are very old.
Should we leave them on site or just delete all of them (except FAQ's etc) and start fresh?
Parody: Most of the comics on GACUK are dated before 2007 and are very old. Should we leave them on site or just delete all of them and start with fresh comics? But seriously: no, by all means keep them please. The bandwidth and storage needed for messages should be relatively minor, and storage media gets cheaper every day. BTW: as of 5/6/08 on the top of the message board page, to the left of the search icon a link says "News: Should we remove all old forum posts? Have your say here!"... which suggests this question is still under consideration, but that link leads to a thread, above which is a poll that closed 3/9/08. A closed poll tends to contradicts a "Have your say here!" prompt, when the poll results are at the top of the page.

Since it seems people will not use the appropriate place to ask for help this thread is now closed, the voting is long over anyway
