NotesA girl's/ young woman's weekly, published by C. Arthur Pearson, featuring comic strips, stars of the time, problem page.I don't know who scanned this but if anyone does know, let me know and I'll correct the attribution.

The artwork throughout this paper is of a high standard. I'd never heard of Shirley Bellwood. Her work is especially nice. I wonder why she's the only one to get a credit--and a big one, too.

Author Max Harris tells me this depicts an actual event from real life – in the prison in Gloucester Castle on 16th June 1677.
