Remarkable how it emulates the TV show as close as it does, but what kid wants to read a comic book about the rodeo circuit? Decent art by Sparling, but more than a few had to be disappointed Stoney didn't quite look like Jack Lord.

"Stoney-Boney"??

Warren Oates (Ves Painter) is said to have ad-libbed this nickname early on during filming of the series, and writer-producer Leslie Stevens liked it enough to keep it around throughout the run of the show.
