Rex Maxon art on the first story. He had a long run on the Tarzan newspaper strip and the Young Hawk strip in Lone Ranger. Also the artist of the first issue of Turok (Four Color 596).

NotesThis is the same artist that made the early Turok son of Stone, and Young Hawk ( Lone Ranger #48). Even early Tarzan. His faces in 3/4 backview have a short nose high up, and lower face almost half the head hight. His bodies are rather lean and non muscular. He is credited to The Indian Chief in LAMBIEK, and compared with Young Hawk, the art is identical. Art ID by Steinar Ådland January 2011.
